Free-range, chemical-free, sustainable and ecologically sensitive 100% grass-fed beef comes from the cattle raised at Coon Rock Farm in Hillsborough, NC. 100% grass-fed beef has a high ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3, plenty of beta-carotene and vitamins E and A. You won't find this high quality nutrient profile in grain-fed, conventionally produced beef. All our beef is preservative and gluten-free. Osso Bucco, or cross-cut beef shank, is traditionally the ideal cut of beef for making stews and stocks. Thanks to the fat and bone, it is also great for roasting and eating as a wonderfully flavorful and delicious steak substitute.
